Christian Diez

Christian Diez joined in 2019 and serves as Sightway Capital’s Chief Financial Officer. He is responsible for the oversight of Sightway’s finance and fund management functions. Prior to joining, Christian was a Principal and Head of Finance & Operations at Navab Capital Partners, where he established the firmwide infrastructure for a large scale private equity fund launch. In this role, he designed and implemented policies and procedures for accounting and operations, oversaw the selection of third-party back office support services, and created a framework for investor due diligence meetings. Prior to working at Navab, Christian was a Principal in Finance & Operations at Corsair Capital, where he was  responsible for managing financial reporting, tax reporting, and operations for Corsair’s private equity funds, co-investments, and GP vehicles. In addition, he managed the operational execution of Corsair’s fund investments, worked closely with portfolio company CFO’s on a wide range of tax and accounting issues, and played an integral role in fundraising efforts. Previously, Christian held private equity controllership roles at Brigade Capital Management and Wolfensohn Fund Management. He began his career in the Alternatives division of Credit Suisse. Christian holds an M.B.A. and a B.S. in Business Management – Accounting from the New York Institute of Technology and is a Certified Public Accountant.
