Zach Thorson

Zach Thorson joined Two Sigma in September 2020 and currently serves as Vice President for Two Sigma Real Estate. Mr. Thorson is responsible for sourcing, underwriting, executing and asset managing investments and developing relationships with Two Sigma Real Estate’s operating partners. Prior to joining Two Sigma, Mr. Thorson served as an Investment Banking Associate in Evercore’s real estate and generalist groups. In this role, he provided strategic, M&A, and capital markets advice to public and private entities across the real estate sector. Additionally, Mr. Thorson was responsible for performing valuation analyses, conducting research and due diligence, drafting client presentations, and building comprehensive financial models to evaluate strategic options and capital structure alternatives for clients. Prior to that, Mr. Thorson served as an Associate Consultant at ZS Associates and an Optimized Operations Process Engineer at 3M. Mr. Thorson is a graduate of University of St. Thomas and holds an MBA from Columbia Business School.
