Two Sigma’s 2026 interns had a remarkably productive summer, and Business Insider took notice. In a new feature on our internship program, the publication reports that most of this year’s interns finished their core projects weeks ahead of past cohorts and went on to stretch goals, a sign of how AI is raising the bar for what an intern can accomplish. The story also explores what that means for the skills we value, from strong technical foundations to judgment and communication, and how our program is designed to build a lasting talent pipeline. Case in point: more than 200 current employees, including eight Managing Directors, started as interns.
