Marlene Guraieb

Marlene Guraieb joined Two Sigma in September 2021 and currently serves as Head of Data Science for Two Sigma Real Estate. She is primarily responsible for the day-to-day implementation of Two Sigma Real Estate’s strategic data science initiatives including direct oversight of its dedicated data scientists as they build, refine, and implement resources that support Two Sigma Real Estate’s underwriting and portfolio construction. Prior to joining Two Sigma, Ms. Guraieb most recently served as a Data Scientist at Meta (formerly Facebook) working on its newsfeed and stories ranking. In this role, she designed, deployed, and oversaw machine learning algorithms used directly in ranking users’ Instagram stories and Facebook news feed. Prior to that she spent time as a public and private sector economics consultant in Mexico. Ms. Guraieb is a graduate of Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México and holds a Ph.D. from New York University.
