Erin Stein

Erin Stein is our head of operations. She builds relationships with our nonprofit partners, manages our active projects, and collaborates with the broader data for good community.  Prior to Two Sigma, Erin spent over ten years teaching math and French, training teachers, and designing curricula and programming at education and nonprofit institutions in the US and abroad. Motivated by the myriad constraints she faced due to limited evidence and resources, she turned her focus to the role of data in enabling sustainable impact for mission-driven organizations.  Erin holds an MA from Columbia University and a dual BA from Michigan State University, and co-founded the first women’s lacrosse team in France.
