Michael Lynch

Michael Lynch joined Two Sigma in August 2021 as a Partner of Two Sigma Real Estate. Mr. Lynch leads acquisitions (including sourcing, underwriting, diligence and execution), asset and portfolio management and dispositions and contributes to the portfolio management and strategic direction of the platform. He also works closely with Two Sigma Real Estate’s data science and engineering teams with planning and oversight responsibility for data science research, development and investment process integration. He is a member of Two Sigma Real Estate’s Investment and Valuation Committees. Prior to joining Two Sigma, Mr. Lynch most recently served as Managing Director & Senior Investment Officer at Junius Real Estate Partners, where he and Mr. Gomel were founding team members. In this role, he co-managed Junius’ investment team, served on its investment and valuations committees and contributed to the strategic direction of the business. Mr. Lynch and his team led investment origination, execution, and asset management for Junius’ investment strategy, which spanned value-added, opportunistic, special situations and operating company investments through equity, preferred equity and debt investment structures. Prior to that, Mr. Lynch served as Director of Marathon Real Estate at Marathon Asset Management and Analyst at J.P. Morgan Real Estate & Lodging Investment Banking. Mr. Lynch is a graduate of Duke University.
